Adopting a pure bred shaded silver is a wonderful & happy time, however like any pet commitment it is not to be taken lightly. Shaded silvers require lots of attention like all cats, but they also require daily grooming & eye washing. Persian lovers will enjoy the grooming time with their pets, however Persian coats can get out of control very fast. If this happens it is always better to take them to a groomer to see if they can be brushed out. If not then they must be shaved. Knots are very painful & a possible source of infection.
